Halloween 2006
On the Saturday before Halloween we went to a pumpkin patch called Mainstays Farm and had a blast!! This farm has it all : hay rides, life-size mazes, a three story tree house, a hay barn to play in and so much more!
We had so much fun playing and running around! As you can tell, Hannah was a Baylor cheerleader for Halloween this year - I couldn't resist.
Halloween evening were went to a Fall Festival and Hannah did GREAT - she was runner-up in the costume contest!! None of the scary costumes scared her - which surprised mommy. Then we went trick-or-treating at Grandma's house and helped grandma hand out candy!!
Below are pictures from the pumpkin patch!!

State Fair

We went to the State Fair this year and Hannah had so much fun looking around at all the people and she LOVED the petting zoo. Here are some of my favorite pics from that trip....

(I loved this one - they were looking so intently at one another)

Hannah was not afraid of any of the animal and would have gotten in the cages with them had those stinking bars not been in the way!!!

Family Photo

This is the most recent family photo of Chris' mom's side of the family - most of the family is in Austin!! Barbara (Chris' mom is the oldest of six children - their names are Barbara, Beverly, Beth, Bonnie, Becky and John)!

Below is the entire family doing "Hook 'Em Horns" because grandpa loved his alma mater and was a true Longhorn fan... In the middle you can see Jennifer (An Aggie) doing the horns downward and I am in the corner doing a Sic 'Em Bears (being the lone Baylor grad in the family), but my hand is behind Aunt Bebe's head.....

Family Time for Mommy and Grandpa's Birthday

We loaded up the car on Friday the 15th of September and headed to Aunt April and Uncle Tate's. Hannah stayed with them while mommy and daddy went to the Rangers Game for their special tribute to Firefighters, Police and EMS personnel!! We had a great time at the game - the Rangers lost of course....

The next day Hannah, Aunt April and Nanny headed shopping for baby stuff and Chris, Em and Grandpa went to the International Association of Fire Chiefs convention at Dallas Convention Center.

Afterwards we all went to dinner and had a GREAT time (right Tate)!!! The next morning we all went to breakfast at Barbek's! It was a great weekend - Thanks April and Tate for having us and helping us with Hannah.

Hannah with Uncle Tate and Aunt April (April is holding the Dora the Explorer ball that she bought for Hannah - she loves to throw it at Baylor (the Dog) - Thanks Aunt April)

Talking on the telephone...

For those of you who have called our house lately - you know that Hannah is beginning to talk to people on the telephone... well - she smiles and signs a lot to mommy and daddy, but occasionally she talks with the person calling. These are pictures of her talking to daddy on the phone....

(For those who read Tater Tot's blog - this is the "O" that Hannah makes when she says "Whoa!")

New Talent

Hannah has discovered that she is a big girl and can now climb on the couch by herself!! This also means that she is falling off of the couch by herself!!
Below -- She climbed onto the recliner and fell asleep - she looks so peaceful when she is sleeping - it is the only free time that I have to get anything done around the house!!! And yes - she sometimes sleeps with her eyes opened a little... we don't know why and it drives Chris crazy (for those of you who know about his deal with eyes)....
Daddy's Fire Station Open House

Chris had an open house at the end of last month for his volunteer department. Hannah loved the helicopter and ran over to the pilot and made fast friends. I do not think Hannah has ever met a stranger in her life and she smiles this silly grin and everyone loves her! I thought I would share a few photos....
