Loss in the Family

We lost our beloved pet rabbit, Taba, yesterday. Hannah cried her eyes out, but woke up this morning and asked when we were getting a new pet.

She will tell you that Taba is in Heaven with God and God told her that Taba is okay.

We are off to see the Wizard!

Hannah wanted to be Dorothy for Halloween and so we thought Seth would make a pretty cute scarecrow - and we were right!!!! They looked adorable in their costumes. We took them to trick-or-treat at a couple of houses and to see the Babler's at the carnival that they were at. Hannah loved her costume!!!

Dorothy and her puppy Toto with the ruby red slippers!!

A very cute scarecrow!!

Hannah was so excited about her shoes!!!

Pictured above with Katie - who was too cute in her ears!!!

Our festive table decorations. We had all been sick the week before and Hannah had to miss her party at school, so we decorated our table and she had a fall party at home. We made homemade jack-o-lantern pizzas and she had a BLAST!!!

Little Flash

Hannah is on the Little Flash soccer team for the Upward Soccer League at our church! Today was the first game and Hannah had a BLAST!!! She is the only girl on her team, but really did well and had fun! She played all positions and blocked a goal while she was playing goalie!!

Chris is the assistant coach for her team and is on the field with the team the whole time.
Before the game- all geared up!!!

Playing at the Park

We are so lucky to live in walking distance of 3 public parks. Now that it is a little cooler, we are spending a lot of time playing at the park.

Water park fun!

Chris and Curtis took Hannah, Cameron and Austin to the water park at the Y by our house. I stayed home with Seth who is a little under the weather right now (sinus infection)!!

When they got home from swimming, I asked Hannah - "How was the water park?" Her response was --- "NOT good" ... Apparently she got into trouble with the lifeguard for climbing up the slide and not using the ladder - lesson learned and I do not think she will do it again!! The hour and a half before the incident with the lifeguard looked like a blast from these pictures!!!
Hannah practicing swimming without floaties!!!

Hannah loved when the buckets dumped on her head!!!

Fossil Rim

We took the kids to Fossil Rim Wildlife in Glen Rose and had a GREAT time!! It is a drive through safari place that takes about 3 hours to drive through. There were cheetahs, ostrich, deer, buffalo, wildebeast, giraffe, and so many other animals...... We fed them from the car and the zebra were so much fun to feed by hand!!! Hannah had a blast looking for animals and really took it all in, Seth was excited to be in the car and NOT in his car seat!!! He really did not pay much attention to the animals other than the giraffe - he really liked them!!!

Thank you Uncle Curtis for driving us and taking GREAT pictures!

They have a petting zoo and cafe halfway through and we had a picnic there with our sandwiches that I packed and them it was off to the petting area!! The goats were HUGE and Seth was not at all scared!!!

Seth's face sums up how much fun we all had that day - we will definitely go back soon!!!
