Updates ----

My family has been on my case about updating the blog - so I hope you enjoy it!! I am trying to be better at it, but working full time and taking care of an almost 2 year old is EXHAUSTING!!!

I wanted to let everyone out there know that I am in training for the Susan G. Komen 3-day for Breast Cancer Research. The walk will be the last week in October. I am walking in honor of Pop, Aunt Bebe and Aunt Nina..... I will be asking all of you for donations, so be watching for updates. I hope to get a picture of the team that is walking soon and we will start fundraising soon. There are 6 of us on the team and we have to raise $2200 EACH!!!!

I was cleaning the kitchen one day and Hannah was playing in the living room. She was really quite so I came to see what she was up to and she was buried in her basket of stuffed animals!!

Nanny came to watch Hannah for us so we could attend a funeral and Hannah showed her where she likes to sit and read. She has an ABC book that she can read all by herself - ask her Nanny or Grandma - she has read it for both of them!!!

This is DEFINITELY Daddy's Little Girl!! She climbs on any and everything she can and is really quite good at it!!!

SNOW in Texas

It snowed here on January 17th and Hannah had so much fun playing in the snow - we had a hard time getting her to come inside......

January 8th, 2007

This was a special day in our family. Aunt April gave birth to John Reiff! He came in at a hefty 9 lbs. 8 oz.! April and Tate are so happy that he is finally here. Hannah, Daddy and Mommy went to see John at the hospital and Hannah cannot stop talking about the BABY!!!

Congrats to April and Tate and welcome to the family John!!!

Christmas 2006....

We had a long Christmas holiday this year!!! It started at Nanny and Papa's house the first weekend in December with Christmas and a baby shower for Aunt April. Then we had Christmas with Grandma and Pop on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning was a little wild at our house as Daddy had to go to a structure fire that morning and was gone all morning. (Chris is a Assistant Chief with a volunteer department in his free time and they had a major fire involving a fatality and he had to be there. So, Hannah and I waited to do Christmas until her could get away for a little while.
